Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kelma (“the service”), an AI chat-agent platform available at this website. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use Kelma on behalf of a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for that business.

The service

Kelma lets you train an AI chat agent on content you provide (your website, documents, links, and text), customise it, and embed it on your own website, where it answers your visitors and can collect contact details (“leads”) on your behalf.

Your account

Sign-in is by email magic link — keep access to your email account secure, as anyone with that access can sign in as you. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Your content & your visitors

  • You confirm you have the right to use the content you feed to your agents (your website, uploaded documents, pasted text) and that it doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights.
  • Conversations between your agent and your visitors, and any leads collected, belong to you. You are responsible for how you use them and for giving your own visitors any privacy notices required where you operate.
  • AI-generated answers can be wrong. Kelma includes controls to keep agents grounded in your content, but you remain responsible for what your agent is allowed to say — review its setup for anything where accuracy is critical (prices, medical, legal, or financial information).

Plans & billing

  • Free includes 1 agent, 100 message credits per month, and a small “Powered by Kelma” badge on the widget.
  • Paid plans raise those limits and remove the badge. They renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep your plan until the end of the paid period. Fees are billed through Stripe. Prices are final — no VAT is added or charged: Kelma is operated by a person registered as exempt under article 11 of the Value Added Tax Act (Malta), VAT Reg No 3297-8402.
  • Message credits reset monthly and don’t roll over. When credits run out, the widget pauses politely until the next reset or an upgrade.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Kelma to deceive people (an agent must not pretend to be human when directly asked), to spam, to collect data you have no right to collect, to distribute malware or illegal content, or to build agents for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes. Don’t attempt to overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put our providers at risk.

Availability & warranty

We work hard to keep Kelma reliable, but it’s provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, or that AI answers will always be accurate or complete.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.

Ending the service

You can delete your agents or stop using Kelma at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also discontinue the service with reasonable notice, refunding any prepaid unused period.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use Kelma after a change means you accept the updated terms.
